Driving and parking in Willemstad
Parking in the centre
Punda and Otrobanda have paid car parks and a parking garage. At hotels outside the centre you can usually park free on site. Feel free to ask us where the easiest spot near your address is.
The bridge between Punda and Otrobanda
The famous floating bridge is for pedestrians only. By car you cross the Juliana bridge above it — a detour of a few minutes, with the best view over the bay.
Driving on Curaçao
You drive on the right, as in most of Europe. Outside town the roads are quiet. Watch out for the speed bumps in built-up areas and for goats and donkeys wandering along the road.

Great choice if you want to rent a car. Nice people, good cars (not your small wheeled dinky toys), excellent communication. No rental deposit, and you can even pick up or drop off the car at the airport, a 5 mins procedure. They even threw in two packages of peanuts and bottles cooled water. Will be our next choice no doubt

Highly recommend this car rental service. It was the most hassle free experience. Sandor delivered the car to our resort 15 minutes after we checked in. Car was clean and included a cooler. They also gifted us with a bag of waters and snacks. Such a personal touch.

We had an amazing experience renting with Blue Haven! The whole process was easy and simple, through direct contact with the owners. They had the car at the airport entrance as soon as we arrived and pick up and drop off process did not take more than 5 minutes. Amazing!!
